Now that you have a new iPhone, learn how to do more than make phone calls with it. You don't need any computer background for this class, just a relatively recent iPhone, already registered and working. This 2-day course will cover the various parts of the iPhone, what you see on the screen, and how to use the basic hand gestures. We’ll introduce some of the basic features including the camera and photos, sending and receiving email and messages, using maps and getting directions, and talking to Siri your personal assistant. This will help you to get more use from your iPhone, and prepare you to take our additional classes in the areas you may wish to pursue in greater depth.
The Computer Learning Center at Ewing offers a new two- session course on iPhone Basics for those 55 and older. The course, which costs $10, is designed to launch first-time owners into a comfort zone with their iPhones. You donʼt need any computer background in order to take this class. All you need is your iPhone, already registered and working. This is the only prerequisite for enrolling in the class.
